Mr. Perez – 8th Grade Math Teacher

I am proud to select Mr. Perez as our Starfish Teacher of the Week!

Although Mr. Perez is new to Biloxi Junior High School this year, he has already made a wonderful impression through his dedication, patience, and genuine commitment to his students.

Teaching math is not always an easy task, but Mr. Perez has a special way of making it understandable. He takes the time to explain concepts clearly, encourages his students to ask questions, and patiently works with them until they gain a better understanding. He recognizes that every student learns differently and makes the effort to help each one succeed.

What makes Mr. Perez even more deserving of this recognition is his willingness to go above and beyond the classroom. He dedicates his time after school to tutor students who need additional support, showing that his commitment to their success does not end when the school bell rings.

A great teacher does more than teach a subject. A great teacher builds confidence, inspires students to believe in themselves, and reminds them that they are capable of achieving more than they think.

Mr. Perez represents these qualities through his patience, kindness, and dedication to helping his students succeed.

Even though he has only been part of our school family for a short time, he is already making a meaningful difference.
