Starfish of the Week - Mrs. Rivera

I select Mrs. Rivera as Starfish Teacher of the Week!

I have only known Mrs. Rivera for a short period of time, but that is more than enough to see just how genuine of a person she is. Mrs. Rivera is one of the kindest souls I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and her kindness and selflessness is reflected not only in her work ethic, but in every student she helps.

In fact, every time I see her, she’s either helping a teacher, helping a student, or assisting someone else. She is a cornerstone of Biloxi Junior High School and we wouldn’t stand a chance without her.

If Mrs. Rivera isn’t qualified for sainthood, then I’m not sure anyone is; but I am honored to recognize her as Starfish Teacher of the Week, and hopefully that’s good enough for now.
