Starfish Teacher 

My Starfish Teacher nomination is for Mrs. Peyton Harvey. Mrs. Harvey is reliable, collaborative, and consistently supportive of both her colleagues and her students. She is always willing to listen and offer thoughtful, innovative suggestions. Her classroom is a truly welcoming environment where students feel valued and encouraged.

She has quickly become one of my favorite teachers to brainstorm with; she brings fresh ideas and creative, practical solutions to any challenge. Her dedication—both to her students and to her athletes—is inspiring and genuinely refreshing.

Mrs. Harvey is deeply knowledgeable about her subject, uplifting to her students, and a trusted teammate to her coworkers. What more could we ask for in an educator?
