Tribe Happenings: Mississippi Studies Students Reenact the Battle of Vicksburg
History came alive in Mississippi Studies today! After studying the Battle of Vicksburg, students in Mrs. Johnson’s class staged a paper ball battle. Divided into two sides, they built perimeters, gathered supplies, and defended their positions in an exciting showdown. When the battle ended, the class came together to reconstruct the room which reinforces teamwork, responsibility, and a connection to history. The activity gave students a fun and memorable way to wrap up the unit.
