Entomology & Environmental Clubs: Marsh Grass Project with Mississippi State

Our Entomology and Environmental Clubs are hard at work on a marsh grass project in collaboration with Mississippi State University! 

Marsh grass plays a vital role in strengthening our coastal ecosystem by:

-Preventing erosion and protecting shorelines from storm surges 
-Filtering water to improve water quality 
-Providing critical habitats for fish, birds, and other wildlife
