Teakawndra Bender

I am happy to nominate Ms. Teakawndra Bender as the starfish employee of the week. Ms. Bender is our 8th grade DT assistant, but she goes above and beyond to assist ALL students she has contact with. She is always available to lend an ear, be a shoulder to lean on, or watch the class for a bathroom break. I have the privilege to witness her build relationships, encourage, and mentor our students, especially those who need extra support. Regardless of the challenge, she approaches each day with a smile and is ready to make a positive impact on those who need it most. Thank you for being such an integral part of our school community!
